PALATKA
"The Gem City of the St. Johns River," Palatka is home to picturesque views along the St. Johns River. Palatka hosts many iconic festivals, such as the Blue Crab Festival and the Azalea Festival, as well as numerous tournaments, such as the Bassmaster Elite Series, attracting thousands of visitors nationwide. The Rodeheaver Boys Ranch hosts a Bluegrass Festival every February and November. Palatka, designated a trail town in 2019, continues to develop an extensive biking network. The Palatka Municipal Airport hosts air shows and skydiving. Palatka has the small town feel but is close to everything, being an hour or less drive to St. Augustine, Gainesville, Ocala, Daytona Beach, and Jacksonville. Orlando, home to many major amusement parks, is only a two hour drive south.

East Palatka sits along the St. Johns River and is the agriculture hub of Putnam County. It is home to numerous farms using state-of-the-art technology to grow numerous crops, such as; potatoes, corn, legumes, and cabbage. It is home to the Putnam County Fairgrounds and Expo Center.

Pomona Park
